Achieves IATA Environmental Assessment Certification

ORANJESTAD – Aruba Airport Authority N.V. (AAA) is proud to announce that Queen Beatrix International Airport (Aruba Airport) has achieved the International Air Transport Association (IATA)’s Environmental Assessment Certification (IEnvA), marking a significant milestone in the airport’s commitment to sustainable growth and environmental stewardship.

AAA went through a rigorous training, assessment, and verification process for over two years to reach this prestigious certification.

“In 2025, AAA developed and established its Environmental Management System (EMS), a structured framework to continuously improve the airport’s environmental performance.

By achieving this certification, AUA Airport has met the rigorous standards set forth by IEnvA and has demonstrated a clear resolve to minimize environmental impact.
